Who is on the Point team?

The Point team is a group of financial industry professionals and startup veterans united by their desire to make home equity more accessible to homeowners.

Point was founded in 2014 by Eddie Lim and Eoin Matthews, who were motivated by their own experiences – and frustrations – with conventional home equity financing. For Lim, inspiration struck after he sold a previous company and applied for a HELOC to provide liquidity while planning his next move. He was rejected due to lack of conventional W-2 income, which got him thinking – who else was having trouble accessing their home equity?
