What is required at my appraisal?
Point requires an internal inspection of the property, during which the appraiser will take photos of your home. Photos cannot be provided by the applicant. During the appraisal, the appraiser will need access to the entire property, including all rooms, basements, storage areas, garages, ADUs, barns, etc. If the appraiser cannot access all parts of the property, another appraisal will be required, and the appraisal fee will increase to cover the second appraisal. Additionally, if the agent arrives at the property and is not allowed entry, the fee will increase to cover the second trip.
