Will you accept an appraisal I completed recently?

We may accept an existing appraisal under certain conditions.

The appraisal must:

  • Be conducted within 3 months of closing and signing the agreement for your HEI

  • Be a standard full appraisal (We can't accept AVMs or desktop appraisals.)

  • Have been ordered by an independent third party, such as a lender, for an equity-based transaction (We can’t accept appraisals from insurance companies or ordered by the homeowner.)

  • Meet the quality and scope standards typically required by first mortgage lenders

  • Be completed ""as-is"", not subject to hypothetical repairs or improvements

  • Be provided in a digital and full color format

We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you'd like to submit an existing report, so we can determine if you might close in that timeframe.
