Why am I being asked to schedule an appraisal twice?

If you've been asked to schedule an appraisal twice, it may be because:

• The appraiser was unable to access the property or not all areas were available when they were there (locked rooms, for example) in which case additional fees may apply.

• Due to unknown complexities with the property found at the inspection a different type of report may be needed.

• The report needs to be reassigned by the appraisal company if the original appraiser is unable to complete the report.

If you've been asked to schedule an appraisal after completing a hybrid AVM, it may be because:

• The previous inspection didn't meet the required quality checks.

Only the appraisal used will incur a fee.
