How are home upgrades considered in my valuation?
Any part of the property present at the time of inspection is considered in the appraisal value, including upgrades to countertops, and bathrooms, etc. The appraised value is based solely on the property’s condition at the time of inspection.
We can't consider future improvements if you're in the process of renovating or plan to renovate with your HEI funds. For those to be considered, they would have to be completed prior to appraisal.
