My property is under construction. Will that impact the value?

The appraisal can only take into account the home as it stands at time of inspection. If your property is under construction a “cost to cure” will be applied which involves estimating the cost to bring the property back to normal condition.

This estimated cost will be deducted from the final appraised value. Additionally, if your home currently lacks a functioning kitchen and/or at least one functioning bathroom, any rooms have exposed studs, missing siding or other potential healthy or safety issues, Point will be unable to proceed with the application.
