Why is the subservicer listed on my policy instead of Point?

After funding, your HEI is managed by one of our subservicers {{glossary.BSI}} Financial Services or {{glossary.RoundPoint}} Mortgage Servicing that handle servicing activities like insurance monitoring. Because they perform these functions, your assigned subservicer must be listed on your insurance policy as the mortgagee or loss payee instead of Point.

Listing the subservicer does not transfer ownership or title in any way you (or your trust) remain the named insured and retain full control over decisions such as selecting the contractor who performs the work.
