How do I repay Point?
You repay Point when you exit your Home Equity Investment. This typically happens in one of the following ways:

Selling your home: Your HEI payoff is included in the closing process and paid from the sale proceeds.

Refinancing: You can repay Point through a HELOC, cash-out refinance of your primary mortgage, or a Re-Point at any time during your 30-year term (Unless you have an existing agreement that specifies a 10-year term.) For more information on Re-Point: https://point.com/blog/pay-back-hei-re-point.

Using other funds: You may use personal savings, investment funds, or any other legally-acceptable source of funds you choose to repay your HEI.
Once repayment is complete, Point will issue a lien release, and your agreement will be fully satisfied.
