Can I remodel the home at any time?

You maintain ownership and control over your home and don’t need to Point’s permission to remodel. You are required to maintain its value, however, and can’t do anything that would greatly impair the value of the property. Any improvements that increase your home’s value will be reflected in the ending valuation when you repay your HEI and included in total appreciation.
